This mid-range Japanese mahjong set is finished to a high standard and is housed in a sturdy white box-style case. The trays are lined with red felt to house the tiles comfortably and quietly.
The tiles are in the classic style, slightly curvacious backs, and "side notches" suggestive of the bamboo backed ivory tiles of the 1920s. The tile faces are clean and elegant.
